Industrial Giants: A Tour in Time, June 18, 2022

The Endicott Visitor Center at the Bowes Mansion will be providing free guided tours of both the mansion and exhibits of two industrial giants, the Endicott Johnson Shoe manufacturer as well as the International Time Recording Company (ITR) and the multi-million dollar computer company it later became, International Business Machines (IBM).
On the second floor of the mansion, you will find displays of fashions from the Flapper Era including dresses from as early as 1900 through 1929 as well as a wedding gown from 1923. There are wonderful women’s hats, gloves, jewelry, and evening bags. In another room you will find vintage christening outfits, boys’ and girls’ clothing and toys from the 1930's through the 1950's. The second floor also contains a Reference room chock full of binders and scrap books depicting many aspects of Endicott’s fascinating history.
