Starting May 20, we will work on the 200 & 300 blocks of N. Arthur Ave. This includes replacing the water main, valves, hydrants, curb boxes, and new services. No parking on the east side during the project. North Arthur will be closed in the construction zone during the day and open after work hours.
Read MoreOn Tuesday 5/14 at 7 a.m., the VOE will begin conducting a smoke test of the sanitary sewer system on the 100 block of Bermond Ave. This will assist our inspection crews in locating breaks and defects in our sewer system and is necessary prior to making collection system upgrades. The smoke you see coming from the vent stacks on houses or holes in the ground is non-toxic, non-staining, odorless, and creates no fire hazard.

Water Infrastructure work began on Monday, May 13 on the Monroe Street to Broad Street block of the Avenue and will continue through the week.
