Road Improvements Scheduled for Rogers and Prescott Avenues
Starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, Broome Bituminous will commence milling operations on Rogers Avenue, spanning from Watson Boulevard to Jenkin Street. Once milling on Rogers Avenue is completed, the crew will move to Prescott Avenue, where milling will occur from Pine Street to Ethel Street. Following the milling operations, the paving process is scheduled to begin in the days immediately following.
Notices have been distributed to residents within the affected areas to inform them of the upcoming road work. These notifications are part of the village’s efforts to ensure residents are well-prepared and can plan accordingly.
To ensure the safety of both workers and drivers, Broome Bituminous will have flaggers on-site to manage traffic flow. However, there will be times when sections of the roads will be closed to traffic. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes during these closures to avoid delays.
While this road work may cause some temporary inconvenience, it is essential for the long-term improvement of our village’s infrastructure. These enhancements will lead to safer, smoother roads, benefiting all who travel through these areas.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we carry out these necessary improvements. Our goal is to minimize disruption and complete the work as efficiently as possible.
The Village of Endicott remains committed to maintaining and improving our community’s infrastructure. We thank all residents for their cooperation and look forward to the completion of these important road improvements.
