Lifeguards Recognized For Outstanding Response

On June 9, 2021, an individual experienced a medical emergency at the Northside Pool. Trustees expressed appreciation for the outstanding response of three village lifeguards on duty.

During the July 19, 2021, regular board meeting, trustees organized a ceremony to present certificates to the lifeguards and stated the following:

"On behalf of the Village of Endicott Board of Trustees, we are honored to recognize three lifeguards who demonstrated knowledge, ability, and character for an incident that took place on June 9, 2021. They displayed strong character, exceptional courage, compassion, outstanding commitment to their position and our community. Please join us in thanking and congratulating Lily Gill-Martiny, Frances Burnett, and Angelina Severino!​"
