Snow Removal Command Center Update 12/19/2020

As of Saturday afternoon, better than 80% of roads in the Village of Endicott are passable. Some have only one lane of direction open and there are still streets that are impassable. The priority is to make every street passable and then follow with snow cleanup and opening village lots.

The Village remains in a State of Emergency and the order includes no unnecessary travel.

The Governor's office continues to provide resources. The New York DOT and Broome County crews are assisting the Village. Endicott firefighters and police are also plowing Village streets.

Police Chief Patrick Garey is asking people who have vehicles still under snow on the street to uncover them. This will help plow drivers see the vehicles and also make it faster to move vehicles off the street after the first pass.

Dial 911 for any medical, fire or police emergencies. Residents with specific health or safety concerns cans call the Command Center at 607-757-5366. Please limit calls only to health and safety concerns and not general questions.
